Mercier is a brand of champagne founded in 1858 located in France. The bottles are widely sold in supermarkets in France which makes them a popular product, the historical objective of Eugène Mercier.

Mercier owns 225 hectares of vines in 20 vintages, but also buys crops from contract farmers to complete its own grape production. Some grapes come from the less famous departments of Aisne and Aube in France, a great distance from Épernay. For example, wine can be produced cheaper than that of other champagne houses. Mercier champagnes cost half or less than those of big brands also owned by Paris like Moët & Chandon
