The lighthouse of Alexandria was considered in Antiquity as the seventh of the Seven Wonders of the world. He served as a guide for sailors who crossed the waters of Egypt for nearly seventeen centuries. Visual communication is the first means of communication that man has been able to develop in order to transmit instant messages over long distances.
