- In 1971, the Willot brothers imported the Pampers diaper technology developed by Procter & Gamble ( Ariel ) and marketed it in France under the name of Peaudouce
- In 1984, Bernard Arnault bought Boussac which then owned the Peaudouce brand
- Svenska Cllulosa Aktiebolaget ( Stockholm ) bought Peaudouce from Bernard Arnault in 1988
- Peaudouce disappears in 1999 from the European landscape but continues to be currently sold in other countries like MENA
Secondary
- In 1964, the brand was sold to its competitor Kimberly Clark only for the French market
- The North of France's facilites remain the property of Stockholm ( Nana ). Kimberly Clark was left with two commercial brands for the same product segment: Huggies and Peaudouce. In accordance with its globalization policy, Kimberly Clark decides to keep Huggies only
